Syracuse, N.Y. — The latest restoration of a previously run-down building on Syracuse’s Near West Side is wrapping up.
Three affordable apartments at 1022 W. Fayette St. are leased and tenants moved in last month. The Ponchito’s Taqueria planned for the building’s first floor will open in the next two to three weeks, owner Frank Mignacca said.
The location boasts a new mural.
Redevelopment work took about three years.
