Certified Homebuyer Education Course
Home HeadQuarters' nationally-certified ten-hour class is where you will learn everything you need to know about the homebuying process from start to finish. There is a $35 materials fee for the class, which you must pay to sign up for the class. There is also a $215 class fee that you will not be charged for until you receive Home HeadQuarters' Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance. Our program is open to anyone interested in buying a home, regardless of income or where you want to live.

We offer classes at varying times throughout the week so you can choose the one that best fits your schedule.

Class Times:
Monday/Wednesday Morning Class 9:30am – 11:30am - $35
Monday/Thursday Evening Class 6:00pm – 8:00pm - $35
Saturday Express Class 10:00am – 3:00pm - $35

You can also meet with a trained housing counselor for individual counseling sessions.

Upon graduation from the class, you will receive a course completion certificate that never expires. This certificate is required by area lenders who offer special first-time homebuyer loan products. Home HeadQuarters also requires the certificate to be eligible for our Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance. To sign up for the Homebuyer Education Course, you must first attend a HomeOwnership Orientation Workshop.
